Over the course of a lifetime a college graduate will earn

$1million+ more than a high school graduate.

More than 1 in 3 American fourth graders ,

or 34%, cannot read at basic levels.

The overall high school graduation rate for the US

trails most other industrialized nations.

Charter schools are public schools that participate in statewide assessment tests, and do not discriminate in their enrollment.

Each year, the U.S. spends only $9,644 per student compared to $22,600 per prison inmate.

More than 1.2 million students drop out each year.

That is more than 6,000 students every school day and one every 26 seconds.

Founded by parents, community leaders,

or professional educational management organizations, or a combination of all of the above,

charter schools are independent tuition free public schools.

Charter schools are independent, free to innovate,

and cater particularly to at-risk students.

Charter schools are essential to reforming public education,

as they have high standards, quality teachers,

and customized learning environments.

One of the primary challenges to expanding the charter school initiative in our great city is the lack of capital necessary to build new schools. Canyon-Agassi will promote the success and growth of best-in-class charter schools by acting as a for-profit "bridge developer" of educational facilities.

The Fund was established to provide investors with current income and capital appreciation by responding to the growing demand for quality charter
school facilities in the nation's burgeoning urban centers, and by capturing the opportunities arising out of the current dislocation in the real estate market.
